The British Parliamentary panel investigating phone hacking at News of the World has issued its findings citing media giant Rupert Murdock “‘not a fit person’ to run a huge international company,” according to the New York Times.
Rupert Murdoch, who owned News of the World which shut down because of the phone hacking, still holds a large share of Britain’s media. There is no telling how this will affect Murdoch at this point or whether he will lose his media license. The other question is how it will impact him here in the U.S. Murdoch’s News Corporation owns a large share here too including Fox News and The Wall Street Journal.
